So I went to Nicaragua last summer and figured out a couple things that I thought might be helpful :)

Numbah one :)

Ziploc bag a pair of clean clothes and save it for the trip home. It's really nice to have something fresh              to put on :) and also just bring some ziploc bags! They come in pretty handy.

Number two:

Make a few photo copies of your stuff: passport, insurance card, personal id (drivers liscence) and                   your birth certificate (don't take the real one to Africa :P) and put them in different spots in your                             belongings.

Number three:

Take baby wipes. When we don't have access to a shower it's nice to be able to wipe even your feet                  clean haha.

I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Haha
