Hiyyooo!!! :)

 I'm Anna Mae and I'm obsessed with God :) I spend most of my time with my awesome family! My dad is my best friend, and my mom, older sister, and niece Audrina light up my life! I feel blessed to have been raised in the church, but my relationship with God, up until two years ago, was always something I had kinda just been taught. In 2009 I went on a mission trip to Costa Rica and EVERYTHING CHANGED! I met the most amazing people and realized that I wanted to do more missions trips. A lot of painful stuff happened shortly after that trip and I was really broken. I started loosing track of what God wanted for me and doing whatever I wanted. Last year, I was browsing for missions trips on the internet and found AIMs website and found a one month, all girls trip to Nicaragua. As soon as I found it, I knew that THAT was God's plan for me...not partying and all that. So I went on the trip and God helped me pick up the pieces of my life, and then proceeded to break me for Him. And it was fantastic! I started to see how much love He really had for me and how big His plans are for my life. Missions is what God has planned for my life! :D 

When I got back from Nica I had a vision: a white silhouette of Africa with the word "GO" in big bold letters. I was just about to start my senior year so the timing did not feel right! I went about my year, making plans for college, and all of my plans fell through. I was accepted to three different schools but I wasn't getting any confirmation from God so I backed out of all of them! Then about a month ago I was looking for a mission on AIMs website that might work for a  friend of mine and found the Expedition trip...I knew right then that God was giving me the confirmation on what I was supposed to be doing. I can't put into words how excited I am to be going on a trip that God has planned for me. 

Now for some random facts:)

I LOVE to sing! I recently decided however that I only want to sing for God.....so now I'm back on the worship team.

I'm a published poet. Yay! haha

I work at Subway! (eat fresh haha)

I'm a movie buff.

I had severe cystic fibrosis as a child and a life threatening brian tumor in the sixth grade both of which I was healed from through prayer!

I'm double jointed in my shoulder blades.

I don't like the color orange!

I could live off of salt and vinegar chips. Yummmm.

I have lived in the same town my entire life....our school mascot is the Cowboy and we have a "drive your tractor to school day" be jealous. :)
