A few weeks ago we had a new 6th grade girl come in named Savannah.  She told me she doesn't really know anything about Jesus or God, but she would really like to learn. A couple weeks later we gave the kids an array of common pictures of Jesus; one was fairly graphic of the crucifixion, one was Jesus as an action figure, one was a hippie looking Jesus with two thumbs up, etc etc.  One was this:

We asked them to choose a few pictures and explain if they view Jesus this way, or not and why, or just write about what you think about it or how it makes you feel.

The girl wrote, "I want to be there with Him."

I was absolutely blown away.  I am speechless about this.
